Insanity week 1 review
Woke up this morning and actually liked how my body looked :o taken a progress photo to upload after all nine weeks. Oh and I’ve lost 1kg / 2lbs :)
Absolutely love it so far. The workouts are really awesome and aided by my heart rate monitors they’ve all been logged, along with everything I’ve eaten.
Unfortunately I can’t seem to find my original start picture but I have taken one today as a Week 1 picture and will upload all 9 on the last week. Looks like progress to me!
Whilst I love running outdoors…
… I always do so much more on a tredmill. I don’t like grass particularly as it’s so uneven and my ankles hurt from ice skating. Hour long “jog” - walk but was still fun. Going to do the C25K programme as well with my jogging buddy so we can actually run the whole 5k rather than walk most of it like today.
5.5km completed, escaped zombies once, eaten by zombies once :( lazy times!

Running Again!
Today I did a total of 30 minutes on the treadmill :O And I ran and jogged the majority of it… and it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought :) Yay progress!
Running!
I ran on a tredmill today for the first time ever. This sounds very lame but is basically due to bad knee joints and incredible lack of running ability (excuses I know.) But today I broke that and ran a minute and jogged a minute - I know this isn’t much it was the end of our gym session. Very pleased despite the horrendous stitch I got almost straight away. I’m going to start doing some interval running and jogging on the tredmill from now on! Hurrah to finding new activites!
